Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. The National Tripartite Stabilization Plan (NTSP) is a market risk protection program originally established under the Agricultural Stabilization Act (which was repealed in April 1991). It now operates as a revenue insurance program under the authority of the FIPA. The objective of this program is to reduce losses to producers due to adverse changes in market prices or costs.

Le Programme tripartite national de stabilisation (PTNS) est un programme de protection contre les risques du marché qui a été établi en vertu de la Loi sur la stabilisation des prix agricoles (cette loi a été abrogée en avril 1991). Il tient maintenant lieu de programme d'assurance-revenu sous le régime de la LPRA. Son rôle est de réduire les pertes subies par les producteurs à la suite d'un changement défavorable des prix du marché ou des coûts de production.
