Le système 3D qui a été développé (...) permet la synthèse d'images tridimensionnelles à partir de facettes planes (...) ou de surfaces libres. L'utilisation de surfaces libres permet un rendu optimal des objets courbes et des structures souples. On peut ainsi se rapprocher à volonté de l'objet sans voir apparaître des défauts ou des irrégularités.
