Founded in 1999, the A-Tlegay Fisheries Society is a non-profit organization that provides training, education and other services on the subjects of fishing and resource management to its members. It is comprised of representatives from five First Nations: We Wai Kai Nation, Wei Wai Kum First Nation, K'ómoks, Tlowitsis Nation and Kwiakah Nation.
