Des tribunes sur coussins d'air [...] [permettent] de passer d'une configuration stade de football (80 000 spectateurs) à celle d'enceinte d'athlétisme (75 000). La première couronne de gradins est rétractable. Des tribunes pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 25 000 personnes coulissent sur 15 mètres sous les tribunes intermédiaires et les loges, pour découvrir une piste d'athlétisme grâce à un dispositif sur poteaux télescopiques hydrauliques qui permettent tout d'abord aux dalles de soutien des gradins escamotables de s'abaisser.
