Laser anemometry is a technique for the measurement of velocity determined from the modulation of light scattered from particles, produced by their motion through an illuminated measurement volume. La vitesse de référence est mesurée par anémométrie laser. Cette technique optique permet de mesurer localement la vitesse du fluide grâce à de fines particules utilisées comme traceur de l'écoulement.
