OBS

Not to be confused with "anthracosis" (q.v.), which is a benign deposition of coal dust within the lungs from inhalation of sooty air, and with "coal workers pneumoconiosis" (q.v.), a severe form of anthracosis associated with overt pulmonary disease resulting from prolonged, heavy occupational exposure to coal dust.
