[...] «mur anti-icebergs» [...], ce dispositif est composé de deux murs concentriques entourant les réservoirs de stockage de pétrole. La ceinture extérieure, d'un diamètre de 105 mètres, directement exposée au icebergs, est pourvue de seize éperons brise-glace régulièrement disposés sur son pourtour. Ces éperons sont de forme triangulaire, avec un angle d'ouverture de 111°. [...] Ce «mur anti-glace» amortit les chocs des icebergs grâce à des entretoises qui le relient au mur cylindrique intérieur, de 77 mètres de diamètre.
