[The] "cryo arms" support the upper umbilicals which supply the Ariane 6 upper stage with cryogenic top-up fuel, maintain the correct pressurisation of the upper stage tanks, cool the engines before ignition and generally keep the upper stage in an optimal condition right up to the point of liftoff. The same umbilicals allow the fuel to be drained safely if a launch is aborted. Each arm is 13 m [meters] long and weighs 20 tonnes. One arm supplies liquid hydrogen at -250 ºC, the other supplies liquid oxygen at -180 ºC. When Ariane 6 lifts off, these arms will disconnect from the rocket and then pivot away quickly in just 2.6 seconds to avoid interfering with the rocket's ascent.

The three main ways to win on the ground using grappling techniques include hold-downs, armlocks, and chokes. The offensive judoka attempts to win in these ways by scoring ippon. Only in hold-downs are partial scores (koka, yuko, waza-ari) awarded in addition to ippon. Therefore, a choke or armlock that does not make the opponent submit will not score points. In some instances, chokes and armlocks can be applied in the standing position, although doing so is rare because greater movement is possible by the opponent when standing, making it easier for him or her to defend and escape. Some papers selected single-arm space robots as actuators to touch and capture the target spacecraft in space. The in-orbit screw-driving manipulation by a single-arm space robot ... can cause the rotation and translation of the target spacecraft. Since the target is a free-floating spacecraft that is not a fixed object on the ground, the target will have reactive translational motion and rotation when external forces and torques are applied to the target spacecraft during the screwdriving process. However, the translation and rotation of the target spacecraft can influence the control accuracy of the space robot, which may lead to failures during the screw-driving process. Unlike single-arm space robots, dual-arm space robots can use the cooperation of the two arms to accomplish more complicated space tasks effectively. Therefore, dual-arm space robots can be introduced to carry out the in-orbit screw-driving operation by the mission arm and maintain the position and attitude of the target spacecraft by the other arm.
