CONT

A simple model, ballistic deposition (BD), generates a nonequilibrium interface that exemplifies many of the essential properties of a growth process. It is a model of colloidal aggregates, as well as other porous aggregates. It is simpler to define the BD model on a lattice, but off-lattice versions have also been investigated.

CONT
