Soudure et brasage au chalumeau par apport de métaux différents.

Chalumeau. Les chalumeaux braseurs fonctionnent généralement au propane. Ils sont utilisables pour les trois procédés de brasage, la flamme air-propane pouvant atteindre 1 600 °C. Ces chalumeaux sont à distinguer des chalumeaux soudeurs [...] qui peuvent également servir pour le brasage avec une buse à faible débit, mais leur emploi demande une plus grande adresse de la part du braseur. Avec des chalumeaux soudeurs, on soude avec la pointe du dard, mais on brase avec le panache dont la température est bien moins élevée.
