The Border Infrastructure Fund was implemented to improve the flow of people and goods at border crossings. The fund provides up to 50 percent federal funding to support eligible projects for investments in physical infrastructure, transportation system infrastructure and improved analytical capacity at the largest surface border crossings between Canada and the United States, as well and several other crossing points in Canada.
