BCESN is being formed to: facilitate the establishment of science priorities and objectives; enhance scientific community understanding of government science needs; foster collaborative research; encourage integrated ecosystem-oriented approaches to environmental science in British Columbia; and establish a "connector hub" to facilitate improved access to national environmental science networks.
