L’ergotamine est un alcaloïde de l’ergot de seigle, vasoconstricteur puissant utilisé en association avec la caféine dans le traitement de la crise de migraine. Ses principaux effets indésirables sont ceux liés à la vasoconstriction (spasme artériel, infarctus, ischémie ...) et exceptionnellement à une fibrose, notamment rétropéritonéale.
