The Framework provides a template for the improved management of Researchers’ (RE) careers within the federal public service and addresses new legislative and policy requirements. It provides a structure that brings together related elements of the federal research directions which focus on research activities for public good, results based accountability management, and new human resources management legislative and policy requirements affecting the research community.
