CHEMISORPTION [4 records]

Record 1 2017-02-20

English

Subject field(s)
  • Chemistry
DEF

An adsorption process in which an adsorbate is held on the surface of an adsorbent by chemical bonds.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Chimie
DEF

CONT

We propose "Microbially Enhanced Chemisorption of Heavy Metals (MECHM)" to describe this hybrid mechanism of bioaccumulation via intercalation into preformed, biogenic crystals, and note also that MECHM can promote the removal of the transuranic radionuclide neptumium, which is difficult to achieve by conventional methods.

Record 3 1996-10-11

English

Subject field(s)
  • Chemistry
DEF

Adsorption with dissociation into two or more fragments, both or all of which are bound to the surface of the adsorbent. The process may be homolytic, as in the chemisorption of hydrogen ... or heterolytic ...

French

Domaine(s)
  • Chimie
DEF

English

Subject field(s)
  • Analytical Chemistry

French

Domaine(s)
  • Chimie analytique
OBS
