Certains botanistes attribuent à «coca», nom vernaculaire d'Erythroxylon coca, le genre féminin, tandis que les dictionnaires usuels le considèrent masculin. Notons qu'on appelle aussi «coca» (n.f.) la substance extraite des feuilles du coca et utilisée comme aliment d'épargne.
