The Office of the Commissioner of Review Tribunals (OCRT) organizes a Review Tribunal when a person appeals a Reconsideration decision made by Social Development Canada (SDC) about their Canada Pension Plan or Old Age Security benefits. The OCRT is headed by the Commissioner of Review Tribunals and is independent of SDC. Le Bureau du Commissaire des tribunaux de révision (BCTR) organise un tribunal de révision lorsqu'une personne soumet un appel d'une décision prise au palier du Réexamen de la décision par Développement social Canada (DSC) concernant ses prestations du Régime de pensions du Canada ou de la Sécurité de la vieillesse. Le BCTR, qui est dirigé par le Commissaire des tribunaux de révision, est un organisme indépendant de DSC.
