Children around the world will be invited to sign a two-part pledge on a "Global Citizenship Card", a passport-sized document bearing the UN/50 emblem, in order to become a Global Citizen. The first part of the pledge will contain a "Declaration of Interdependence", acknowledging the responsibility of the international community in the fields of environment, human rights, health and other areas that effect children the world over.
