Deconstruction is the process of decommissioning and dismantling structures in the built environment with the goal of salvaging reusable building materials and fixtures, recycling that which can be recycled, and minimizing construction waste residuals. This process is contrasted with conventional demolition practices which destroys and disposes of materials often without regard to environmental or community health impacts of such activity. 2, record 1, English, - deconstruction

3, record 2, French, - d%C3%A9construction

One very important aspect of building renovation is the deconstruction phase. In the past, preparing for renovation meant demolition, with materials pulled out of the building (wood, metal, drywall, etc.), mixed together and disposed in the landfill. Gradually this cradle to grave approach to deconstruction is being replaced with reuse and reduced waste goals, reflecting a cradle to cradle mentality. ... so much deconstruction material is high value and can be reused, resold or recycled if carefully separated. 1, record 3, English, - deconstruction%20material

2, record 3, French, - mat%C3%A9riau%20de%20d%C3%A9construction
