OBS

This equation has for its object: either to define the units of measurement of the derived quantities in a certain system of units of measurement, in terms of the units of the base quantities or of units of other quantities derived from the system; or to establish the relation between the unit of measurement of a quantity and its multiples or sub-multiples; or to state the equivalence between the units of measurement of the same quantity in different systems of units.
