Comptage de l'eau. Système de jauge. Un robinet de jauge, du type à boisseau, comporte un diaphragme en verre ou en acier calibré, qui ne laisse passer en écoulement continu qu'une quantité fixe d'eau. Il est placé entre deux robinets d'arrêt, également à boisseau, l'un à son entrée, l'autre à sa sortie. Une tige de plombage protège le tout contre un changement délictueux du diaphragme. Le système de jauge nécessite un réservoir emmagasineur avec toutes ses sujétions (eau soumise aux températures extérieures et susceptible d'être polluée, terrasson de sécurité, distribution en parapluie de faible pression, etc.) Il est en voie d'abandon, mais on le trouve encore dans certaines régions où le débit journalier d'alimentation de la commune est assez faible pour n'autoriser aucun gaspillage. 1, record 2, French, - robinet%20de%20jauge
