Pompe disease (also known as acid-maltase disease and glycogen storage disease II) is a rare genetic disorder that causes progressive weakness to the heart and skeletal muscles. It is caused by mutations in a gene that makes an enzyme called acid alpha-glucosidase (GAA), which the body uses to break down glycogen, a stored form of sugar used for energy. 7, record 1, English, - Pompe%20disease

1, record 1, Spanish, - enfermedad%20de%20Pompe

... since no technique has yet been devised that will instantly reverse glycogen depletion in the muscles, it is impossible to prove that muscle glycogen depletion alone limits prolonged exercise performance. ... Take the final 42k running leg of the 226k Ironman triathlon, for example: after cycling at 40k/hr for 4.5 hrs the lead cyclists would be expected to have near total muscle glycogen depletion according to data from lab studies. Yet the best performers are able to run at close to 16k/hr for a further 160 mins! 2, record 5, English, - muscle%20glycogen%20depletion

En fait, il n'y a pas un mur mais des murs. [...] 1, record 5, French, - panne%20de%20glycog%C3%A8ne%20musculaire
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 OBS
