The molecular evolution of genes is affected by a variety of genomic mechanisms of rearrangement (for example, gene conversion, duplications, transposition etc.). We are using a variety of molecular genetic techniques to study the evolutionary consequences of such mechanisms as they take place in a number of functionally important genes, including genes controlling development in Drosophila, the ribosomal RNA multigene family, and the mobile genes of P elements that cause hybrid dysgenesis in Drosophila. 3, record 1, English, - multigene%20family

1, record 1, French, - famille%20multig%C3%A9nique
