"Hydro-Québec announces that its subsidiary HQ Energy Services (U.S.) became a full-fledged member of the New England Power Pool on June 1, 1998. The President of HQ Energy Services (U.S.), Matthew Larocque, is pleased by this development. He pointed out that his subsidiary will now be "in direct contact with the main players on the New England electricity market and thus better able to conduct advantageous transactions involving both Québec and the Northeast."
