Applying the same logic to irradiation and absorption of gamma-rays, the same electromagnetic radiation as in the case of Na atoms only of higher energy being emitted by atomic nuclei, one would come to the same resonant condition which requires that the energy separation between the two levels in the source nucleus and those in the absorber nucleus should be exactly equal. 1, record 51, English, - source%20nucleus

The mission was born in Zurich on 22 May 1985, when it was accepted as a Cornerstone science project by the ESA Space Science Advisory Committee. It was then known as the Comet Nucleus Sample Return mission (CNSR) and was envisaged as a collaboration with NASA. After a few years NASA's priorities changed, so the highly ambitious sample return mission evolved into a slightly less complex ESA-only mission dedicated to a comet rendezvous and two asteroid flybys. 1, record 67, English, - Comet%20Nucleus%20Sample%20Return%20Mission

A nucleus whose aqueous solution has an equilibrium vapour pressure lower than that of pure water. 2, record 74, English, - hygroscopic%20nucleus
Record number: 74, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The exact form taken by hygroscopic nuclei is most frequently that of droplets of solution. It was established by Lord Kelvin that the vapour pressure over the surface of a water drop in equilibrium with its surroundings is greater than that over a plane water surface. ... The vapour pressure over the surface of a solution is always less than that over pure water at the same temperature. For this reason, a solution is hygroscopic, and absorbs water vapour from the surrounding air, becoming diluted in the process. From this it follows that nuclei in the form of droplets of solution may be expected to be satisfactory condensation kerns. When particles of hygroscopic substances are exposed to sufficiently damp air, they become droplets of solution. 3, record 74, English, - hygroscopic%20nucleus

What distinguish city from village are mainly two facts. The first of these is the presence of an organized social core, around which the whole structure of the community coheres. If this nucleation may begin in the village stage, as remains of temples seem to indicate, there is a general shift of household occupations and rituals into specialized collective institutions, part of the intensified social division of labor brought in with civilization itself. But, from the standpoint of the city's relation to the earth, the important point to notice is that, in this social core or nucleus, the sharpest departures from the daily habits and the physical structure of the village take place. 2, record 91, English, - social%20core

3, record 96, French, - noyau%20de%20condensation%20des%20nuages
