Objectives: To improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities in Nunavut; to encourage persons with disabilities to become actively involved in [the Society's] work; to advocate and lobby for the rights and interests of persons with disabilities; and to promote employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. [The Nunavummi Disabilities Makinnasuaqtiit Society does] this by promoting awareness, opportunity, choice and participation in all aspects of life in Nunavut.
