The fifth province to enter the Canadian Confederation in 1870, and fifth in the order of precedence established according to the year of entry into Confederation. The territory covered by the province changed, from the original land around the Red River, to add, in 1881, a new area that was part of the area given to Ontario in 1874 only to give it back to Ontario in 1889, and to finally get to its actual boundaries in 1912. 4, record 3, English, - Manitoba

Cinquième province à entrer dans la Confédération canadienne en 1870 et cinquième dans l'ordre de préséance établi selon l'année d'entrée dans la Confédération.
