The Committee's mandate: to present and examine problematic terminology cases in the field of rail safety and officially approve terms to be used at the federal level, disseminate the recommended terminology and add terms to TERMIUM. The committee includes members of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, Transport Canada, the Canadian Transportation Agency and the Translation Bureau. Established in 2016.

Le Comité a pour mandat de présenter et d'examiner des cas de terminologie problématiques dans le domaine de la sécurité ferroviaire et d'établir un consensus en vue d'uniformiser la terminologie utilisée au niveau fédéral, de diffuser la terminologie recommandée, et d'enrichir la banque TERMIUM. Il est composé de représentants du Bureau de la sécurité des transports du Canada, de Transports Canada, de l'Office des transports du Canada et du Bureau de la traduction. Mis sur pied en 2016.
