Complex regional pain syndrome is a broad term that covers long-lasting pain and inflammation that can happen after an injury or a medical event, such as surgery, trauma, stroke, or heart attack. ... There are several subtypes of CRPS. CRPS-1 occurs after illness or injury but is not associated with any specific nerve damage, and CRPS-2 is associated with damage to a specific nerve. 3, record 1, English, - complex%20regional%20pain%20syndrome%20type%201

ST muscle fibers function primarily for endurance. They contract at relatively low speeds and are primarily used during typical low- to moderate-threshold endurance-type activities. Thses muscle fibers have the ability to use fat, glucose (glycogen), lactic acid and protein (to an extent) as their fuel sources. These fibers have a large number of mitochondria (fuel-processing plant) giving rise to their endurance nature. Slow-twitch fibers are recruited first, are relatively fatigue resistant, and have a relatively low force output per cross-sectional area ... 3, record 6, English, - slow%2Dtwitch%20muscle%20fiber

1, record 6, French, - fibre%20musculaire%20%C3%A0%20contraction%20lente

Type I osteoporosis (postmenopausal osteoporosis) generally develops in women after menopause when the amount of estrogen in the body greatly decreases. This process leads to an increase in the resorption of bone (the bones loses substance). Type 1 osteoporosis is far more common in women than in men, and typically develops between the ages of 50 and 70. The process usually results in a decrease in the amount of trabecular bone (the spongy bone inside of the hard cortical bone). The decrease in the overall strength of the bone leads primarily to wrist and vertebral body (in the spine) fractures. 3, record 7, English, - postmenopausal%20osteoporosis

IDDM [insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus] usually comes on abruptly, although the damage to the beta cells may begin much earlier. The signs of IDDM are a great thirst, hunger, a need to urinate often, and loss of weight. To treat the disease, the person must inject insulin, follow a diet plan, exercise daily, and test blood glucose several times a day. IDDM usually occurs in children and adults who are under age 30. 8, record 17, English, - insulin%2Ddependent%20diabetes%20mellitus

2, record 17, French, - diab%C3%A8te%20insulino%2Dd%C3%A9pendant
