Western Economic Diversification Canada is working to remove some of the barriers facing women in business by supporting the Women's Enterprise Initiative Loan Program. Each western province has set up its own component of this pan-western initiative. Par ce programme important, Diversification de l'économie de l'Ouest essaie de supprimer certains des obstacles auxquels se heurtent les femmes entrepreneurs. Toutes les provinces de l'Ouest canadien ont mis sur pied leur propre composante de cette initiative qui s'étend à toute la région.
