The St. Elzéar Co-operative's current wood allocation is 100,000 m³/yr. Because of the massive forest fires that swept through the region in the summer of 1995, the sawmill has seen its allocation temporarily climb to 120,000 m³ this year, mostly consisting of burnt wood.
