Web: The Translation Bureau recommends in its revised 2013 Linguistic Recommendation that "Web" be capitalized when it stands alone (the Web). When it is part of a compound (web page, website, web-based), "web" is not capitalized. Previously recommended spellings (Web page, Web-based) remain correct.

Web : Le Bureau de la traduction préconise dans sa Recommandation linguistique révisée en 2013 la majuscule initiale lorsque «Web» est employé seul (le Web) ou après un nom qu'il qualifie (une page Web, des sites Web). L'emploi de la majuscule est recommandé, mais on rencontre aussi la minuscule dans l'usage. La minuscule initiale est préconisée lorsque «web» est utilisé comme préfixe pour former des termes dérivés (webdiffusion, des webmestres). Lorsque ces termes sont employés comme adjectifs, ils s'accordent avec le nom qu'ils qualifient (des films webdiffusés).

Web: En español, especialmente el de España, es frecuente ver el término "web" empleado para referirse a la "World Wide Web" (la Web), a una página web (una/la web) o a un sitio web (un/el web).
