CONT

Integrally woven sandwich materials: By using distance woven fabrics as preforms, integral core-skin sandwich structures can be made. In principle this provides two advantages compared with general sandwich structrures. First, a cost efficient production of sandwich panels can be done. Second, the integral nature of the sandwich preform provides delamination resistant sandwich panels.
