In 1812, when he was denied the right to rule this school any longer there were about eighty pupils. As for the convent and the Chapel of the Barnabites, they had been used diversely during the Revolution and became a city secondary school. Two teachers taught French, Latin, History and Geography, while a third taught Mathematics and a writing master was also appointed.
