¿Qué es una dieta yoyo? Se denomina efecto rebote o efecto yoyo a la incapacidad para mantener un peso estable. El efecto rebote consiste en adelgazar rápidamente, recuperar el peso perdido al terminar la dieta, comenzar otra dieta para obtener el mismo resultado o incluso ganar mucho más peso y así sucesivamente durante muchos años.

Una dieta yoyó es aquella que te hace adelgazar pero cuyos beneficios son muy pasajeros, recuperándose con facilidad el peso perdido. Por eso se llaman dietas yoyó, porque el cuerpo sube y baja (como un yoyó) de peso constantemente.
