The Youth Initiative Project Proposal Potato Fieldhand Training Program (Atlantic Region) targets 48 unemployed youth in rural areas of New Brunswick and P.E.I. Participants will receive six weeks of local intensive training specific to the potato industry, followed by a full season of on-farm practical experience. Successful completion of the program will qualify participants for permanent work on local farms. Le Projet de formation de travailleurs d'entreprises de production de pommes de terre dans le cadre du programme Initiatives jeunesse (Région de l'Atlantique) profitera à 48 jeunes chômeurs des régions rurales du Nouveau-Brunswick et de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard.
