There is established an appeal board to be nown as the Yukon Historic Resources Appeal Board consisting of four members who shall be appointed by the Commissioner in Executive Council from people nominated by governing bodies of Yukon First Nations or by the coordinating body for Yukon's First Nations. The function of the Appeal Board is to provide recommendations about objections to the designation of sites or about appeals against designations and to dispose of the other appeals that may be taken to it under section 8. Est constituée une commission d'appel appelée Commission d'appel du patrimoine historique du Yukon composée de quatre membres nommés par le commissaire en conseil exécutif dont deux sont choisis parmi les représentants nommés par les organes dirigeants des premières nations du Yukon ou par l'organe de coordination des premières nations du Yukon. La Commission d'appel a pour fonctions de présenter ses recommandations concernant les oppositions à la désignation des lieux ou les appels interjetés contre des désignations, de statuer sur les autres appels dont elle est saisie en vertu de la présente loi et de faire rapport au ministre au sujet des questions qu'il soumet à son examen en vertu de l'article 8.
