diésel; biodiésel, dísel, biodísel : La Fundación del Español Urgente(Fundéu BBVA), con el asesoramiento de la Real Academia Española, indica que tanto "diésel" como "biodiésel" son voces llanas terminadas en consonante distinta de n o s; por tanto, según señala la Ortografía académica, lo apropiado es escribirlas con tilde. El acento recae en la e, por ser esta la vocal abierta del diptongo. [...] Se recuerda, además, que en parte de América se emplea el sustantivo "dísel", también adecuado, según se aprecia en la Ortografía de la lengua española, al igual que "biodísel".
