En la cabecera de un glaciar hay una estructura muy importante, se llama circo glaciar [...]. En el circo se da la acumulación del hielo. Éstos empiezan como irregularidades en el lado de la montaña que luego van aumentando de tamaño por el acuñamiento del hielo.
