Perros de rescate. Funciones. Por su alto grado de sociabilidad, podrán cooperar con los proyectos al interior de la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública y Protección Civil, en programas de prevención del delito. Cooperará en el proyecto de canino terapia. Su función principal será la localización de personas en catástrofes para lo cual si se le requiere deberá trasladarse hacia los lugares requeridos. Cooperará con organismos nacionales e internacionales cuando se le requiera y acudirá a todo llamado de socorro.
