Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
In a portal axle, the axle shaft is above the wheel hub. At the ends of the axle is a more complex system of gears that translate motion downward to the wheel hub — an added step that allows the axle shaft to be higher than the center of the wheels. Essentially, the axle rotates on a higher plane than the wheels, which allows, among other things, for higher overall ground clearance. 1, record 1, English, - portal%20axle

The movement of a helicopter/VTOL [vertical take-off and landing aircraft] above the surface of an aerodrome, normally in ground effect and at a ground speed normally less than 37 km/h (20 kt [knots]). [Definition officially approved by ICAO.] 2, record 3, English, - air%2Dtaxiing
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The actual height may vary, and some helicopters may require air-taxiing above 8 m (25 ft) AGL [above ground level] to reduce ground effect turbulence or provide clearance for cargo slingloads. The term "air taxiing" is more appropriate than the term "hover taxi" which presents some difficulty ... the term "hover" connotes a stationary position in the air, whereas the term "taxi" connotes movement. 2, record 3, English, - air%2Dtaxiing
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 OBS
air-taxiing: concept including "air taxi" and "hover taxi," two different concepts at Transport Canada. 3, record 3, English, - air%2Dtaxiing

[Définition uniformisée par l'OACI.] 2, record 3, French, - circulation%20en%20vol%20rasant
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
2, record 3, French, - circulation%20en%20vol%20rasant
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 OBS

Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
1, record 3, Spanish, - rodaje%20a%C3%A9reo
