La babesiosis bovina es una enfermedad infecciosa del ganado vacuno, es causada por protozoarios intraeritrocíticos del género Babesia y es transmitida por garrapatas Boophilus spp. Los signos clínicos más comúnmente observados en bovinos afectados por babesiosis son: fiebre, anorexia y anemia.
