The Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF) is an organisation of thirty states of the Caribbean Basin, which have agreed to implement common countermeasures to address the problem of criminal money laundering. It was established as the result of meetings convened in Aruba in May 1990 and Jamaica in November 1992. The main objective of the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force is to achieve effective implementation of and compliance with its recommendations to prevent and control money laundering and to combat the financing of terrorism. 2, record 1, English, - Caribbean%20Financial%20Action%20Task%20Force

El Grupo de Acción Financiera del Caribe(GAFIC) es una organización integrada por treinta Estados de la Cuenca del Caribe, que han acordado poner en práctica contramedidas en común para responder a la problemática del delito de lavado de dinero. Fue establecido como resultado de una serie de reuniones convocadas en Aruba en mayo de 1990 y en Jamaica en noviembre de 1992. El principal objetivo del Grupo de Acción Financiera del Caribe es lograr la puesta en práctica efectiva de sus recomendaciones y el cumplimiento de las mismas, para prevenir y controlar el lavado de dinero.
