Anticorps sérique responsable de l'isoagglutination des hématies. On distingue les isoagglutinines naturelles ou régulières (anti-A ou anti-B) et les isoagglutinines immunes (secondaires aux transfusions ou aux grossesses) encore appelées agglutinines irrégulières (anti-Rh ou anti-Kell par exemple). De plus, des agglutinines anti-A «immunes» peuvent apparaître après immunisation croisée : c'est le cas du sérum des sujets O «donneurs universels dangereux».
