Dentro de los condensadores de tántalo podemos encontrar dos tipos : Los condensadores de tántalo húmedo y los condensadores de tántalo sólido. Los condensadores de tántalo se caracterizan por soportar muy bien elevadas temperaturas. Por tanto presentan mejor estabilidad en temperatura, tiempo y mecánica(vibraciones y golpes).
