Modo 1. Es una alarma que se dispara por [la] R/D [velocidad vertical de descenso] de la ACFT [aeronave]. Es independiente de la configuración de la aeronave. Cuando se penetra en la primera frontera del gráfico suena el aviso "sink rate" a intervalos de 1, 5 segundos. Si no se rectifica, suena el segundo aviso, que es "whoop whoop, pull up". Este aviso suena hasta que no se rectifica [la] R/D [velocidad vertical de descenso].
