[Condition of] loss of neutralizing capacity of soils and waters. 3, record 1, English, - acidification
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The buffering capacity is the capability to neutralize acidity and thus is dependent on the capacity to supply bases capable of neutralizing acids. The buffering capacity increases in thicker and more alkaline soils. The more naturally acidic and coarse the soil, the more sensitive it is to natural and anthropogenic acidification. 2, record 1, English, - acidification

3, record 1, French, - acidification
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 OBS
