Al amparo de un crédito de negociación, el banco emisor se compromete a pagar la carta de crédito (o las letras giradas en relación a ella) a cualquier banco que presente una u otras. El procedimiento consiste en la emisión de una carta de crédito de negociación por parte del banco emisor, a favor de determinado beneficiario.
