The Group of Seven (G7) is an informal grouping of [seven] of the world's advanced economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. The European Union also participates. They meet annually to discuss significant global issues.

Groupe des Sept : Bien que l'appellation «Groupe des Sept» soit usitée, elle ne semble pas employée officiellement par l'organisme. Par ailleurs, en français, on met généralement seulement une majuscule au terme générique d'une appellation ou à l'adjectif qui le précède. Pour ces raisons, l'emploi de la désignation «Groupe des Sept» n'est pas recommandé.
