OBS

The term "hole" means a) the circular depression in every green (to drive or putt the ball into the hole), b) the distance to be played from the tee to the green (a hole of 450 yards), and c) each of the 18 entities of a golf course consisting of a tee, a fairway, a green and their surroundings, that is from one tee to the next (to play a hole in four strokes); one has to distinguish them clearly to get the correct meaning out of a text.
